My yoga journey started when I was 17 and wanted to do some exercise whilst studying for my ‘A’ levels. I couldn’t work out at the time why I felt so relaxed and in tune with my body. My yoga was a skill for life, particularly what the Pranayama that has helped me deal with many challenging situations.
I returned to Yoga in 2009 having had 2 children and spent over 20 years doing weight training – my body needed a gentler means of keeping fit. From here I was inspired to share my yoga knowledge with others and I qualified as a CYF Yoga teacher in 2017.
